For the convenience of Turkish applicants to apply for a Chinese visa, the Embassy(Chinese Consulate-General) of the People's Republic of China in the Republic of Turkey have adjusted the current visa application policy, and the new policy will come into effect on 1st January 2018. 1. NEW VERSION: Visa Application Requirements of the People's Republic of China :

Applicants may find this new version from Chinese Embassy's official website under the column of "Visa & Consulate Affairs", meanwhile the old version "Guidelines for Chinese Visa Applications " will be cancelled.

2. The full operation of Online Visa Application Form-filling and Internet-based Appointment System:

From 1st January 2018 on, the Online Application Form-filling and Internet-based Appointment System will be in full use. When applying for Chinese visa, please first click the "Chinese Visa Online Application Form-filling System"(http://cova.cs.mfa.gov.cn), and then fill the form online, lastly schedule your appointment date. Processing guidance as below:

a) Prepare documents: Read the new "Visa Application Requirements of the People's Republic of China"(http://www.fmprc.gov.cn/ce/cetur/eng/xwdt/t1521942.htm) & "Chinese Visa Online Application Form-filling System"(http://cova.cs.mfa.gov.cn) in advance, and prepare all the materials accordingly.

b) Online Appointment : Login "Chinese Visa Online Application Form-filling System"(http://cova.cs.mfa.gov.cn), please follow the guidance on this website, here are the steps; fill the form, upload applicant's photo, choose an appointment date. Finally print out the "Chinese Visa Online Application Form-filling Confirmation form".

c) Consular Section: Applicants should come to the Consular Office within the appointed date and time. Applicant should appear in person(applicants under the age of 16 should be accompanied with his or her parents or legal guardian) with "Chinese Visa Online Application Form-filling Confirmation Form", passport and other visa requirement materials. At the end, applicants should sign their names on the "Chinese Visa Online Application Form-filling Confirmation Form".

Payment and Pick Up: After the acceptance of your visa application, our staff will give you a "Pickup form" and payment explanation note. Applicants should read the payment explanation note carefully and deposit the fee to the authorized bank (ICBC TURKEY). It is required that all the applicants(or consigner) to pick up your visa on the date written on your "Pickup form", please bring the "Pickup form" and bank receipt with you while you are coming to the Consular Office.
