BEIJING, April 20 (Xinhuanet) -- Tibetan People's Radio held celebrations to mark its 50th anniversary of establishment on Friday, with staff members and listener representatives attending, according to Tibet Business. Since its operating on January 1, 1959, the Tibetan People's Radio has gradually grown from a small one into a modern, well-equipped one. "I've been a longtime listener to Tibetan People's Radio. It has added many colors to my life and broadened my vision. On its 50th birthday, I wish Tibetan People's Radio a better future, and hope it will bring us more wonderful shows," said Siyong, a devoted listener. Head of the radio Liu Changjiang said on behalf of the whole staff, "we will work harder to deliver more brilliant shows to the audience." |
